1060 aluminum coil belongs to the family of pure industrial aluminum 1xxx series, the most frequently applied series for industrial production. It has great price advantage over aluminum alloy coils and sheets, benefiting from simper fabricating process and maturer technology. With an aluminium content of 99.6% and above, its hardness ranks almost the end of all aluminum series. Low hardness, however, endows it with good tensile strength and elongation rate, completely meeting general processing requirements such as pressing, punching, stretching, bending etc. 1060 aluminum coil shows relatively high plasticity, corrosion resistance and conductivity but low cutting property. It’s not suitable for heat treatment, either.
